LOL, I also posted a comment on my blog Ken but I thought I'd post it here too.
I was initially pretty proud of passing my 8th grade test with an 8 out of 10. Considering I spent from 8th grade on up to 12th grade in 'homes for troubled teens' and that I was a High School dropout before coming back as a senior and somehow managing to get my diploma I thought I did pretty well. Also considering that I'm now 33 years old and haven't done a fraction problem in years *grin*, well, I'll reiterate that I thought I did pretty well.
Then of course, I looked again and realized that it was an 8th grade test and it took the wind right out of my sails LOL
